Natural woven shades offer a unique way to address window coverings in that the the shade is made of pieces of wood woven together for a very distinctive look. These shades also boast a large variety of styles and patterns to choose from.
The Roman style is the most popular selection for these shades and can be customized in a number different ways. Options include flat or folded material when the shade is lowered and a valance, cornice, or an option for neither where the material hangs off the front of the shade to hide the hardware.
Other types of natural woven shades include verticals and sliding panels. The verticals fold together to stack on one side and make a great alternative to draperies or traditional vertical blinds. The sliding panels are another unique option, which includes a track that panels of woven wood slide along to cover the windows.
Finally, as shown in the picture to the left, a top-down/bottom-up shade is also available in the woven wood shade collection. This style has folds like a Roman shade and includes a valence to hide the hardware.
